Growing up on the water with my dad, I've been passionate about boating and fishing since I was 6 years old. I worked alongside him on his commercial fishing boat, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience out on the ocean.

In 2014, I turned my focus to rod and reel fishing, specializing in catching cod, haddock, stripers, and tuna off the beautiful coast of Massachusetts. With decades of experience on the water, I’m dedicated to providing unforgettable fishing trips for anglers of all levels.

At AliJen Charters, it’s not just about the catch; it’s about the adventure. Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, I’m excited to share my love for the ocean and fishing with you.

I started fishing at the age of 11, and you could say I was "hooked" from that moment on. My best friend and I would take the family boat and spend our summers exploring the waters of the North Shore. We dedicated ourselves to learning everything about fishing, focusing primarily on striped bass and bluefish. We became experts in understanding their habits and the best baits to use, whether artificial or live.

This passion naturally led me to commercial fishing where I experienced a wide variety of commercial fishing, from rod-and-reel striped bass to offshore ground fishing for cod, haddock, and pollock. After graduating from the University of Maine, I joined a Bluefin Tuna charter out of Gloucester as a first mate. Over several years, I gained invaluable knowledge about this incredible fishery and discovered that the adrenaline rush from catching these giants is unmatched.

I’ve been lucky to have long-standing friendships with experienced captains like Captain Dan, and each summer, we create unforgettable memories on the water. I'm thrilled to be a mate on such an outstanding boat and can't wait to make more memories with all of you this season!
